Round Bar is available in three main grades: 303, 304 and 316 stainless steel.
- 303 - good corrosion resistance; used for free machining applications but is not suitable for welding or forming
- 304 - good corrosion resistance; average machining capabilities; suitable for forming and welding
- 316 - superior grade; excellent corrosion resistance; suitable for forming and welding but harder to machine
